I hate winter...

They're predicting another 6-10" of snow in the next day or so.

I want summer to be here already! Call me crazy but I actually can't wait to even use the old riding mower again...LOL

The Gym...

Well I'm back in the gym officially as of 2 weeks ago. My goal is to gain about 10-15 lbs of lean muscle this winter. I'm on a pretty aggressive workout cycle that will most likely kill me in the next 2 months.

Strength seems to be spot on and increasing. The problem with lifting heavy is that my tendons and ligaments end up really hurting after a while. Oh well, time to man up.

I don't carry a gun...

• I don’t carry a gun because I’m a cowboy. I carry a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I want to be a cowboy.
• I don’t carry a gun to make me feel like a man. I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.
• I don’t carry a gun because I feel inadequate. I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.
• I don’t carry a gun because I love it. I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.

We're in a society where we're making inanimate objects responsible for our stupidity . Think about it.

Cancun, the vacation

Well, what a great vacation. In a nutshell we had a great time, the weather was great, the food was very good and Arlene and the kids had a great time.

I'll post more of a detailed synopsis of the trip when I have more time.
